Its hard to believe this school year is over. I am floored when I think that it has been 3 years since we came to the Capital Region. Amazing! Even more, we got to see our first group of students graduate this past weekend.
It was a weekend of celebrations. One of my students graduated from UAlbany on Saturday and I joined his family for dinner that night. Two of my students graduated from Siena on Sunday morning. Jen, Abby and I got to go celebrate with one of the families that afternoon. Its such a privilege to be entrusted with these students and have the chance to invest in their lives for 4 years, while they are in college. It is just as encouraging to see them sent out into the world as ambassadors of the Gospel. Sure, as they walk across that stage and receive their diploma, they are graduating from college. They are moving onto a new adventure, new job and possibly a new living situation. No matter where they go, they are still ambassadors of the Gospel. You'll have the opportunity later this month to hear from two of these students in our monthly newsletter.
Thanks for partnering with us! Please pray for our graduated students as they step out into the world. Pray for all of our students and us to have a summer where they continue to keep their eyes fixed on Jesus.
