Well, not quite, but we'll have a great view of them throughout the summer. As you may know, in one week, we will be heading out to Colorado State University for our summer assignment. We will be participating in a leadership development track that will help us grow in the way we relate to God, ourselves and others. This will help us become more effective leaders on campus and in our lives in general.
In preparation for the summer, I have been reading a few books that I have really enjoyed. One has been the biography of Bill Bright, Amazing Faith. I have been inspired by how this man trusted God for more than he could imagine. That is very evident today as we look at the ministry that God gave him the vision for.
The second book is A Work of Heart by Reggie McNeal. In this book, I have been challenged by its main statement that a good spiritual leader first takes care of and lets God continue to develop his or her own heart.
We are excited to learn more this summer and share life with other staff who are continuing to develop as leaders as well. At this time, we have a great financial need to cover the expenses of the summer. We are thankful for partners like you who have a heart to see the campuses and world reached with the Gospel.
